Given : a circle of radius 3.2 cm

To Find :  a point outside the circle such that the tangents to the circle through that point make an angle of 60° with each other

Solution:

Step 1 : Mark a point O

Step 2  : Using compass width = 3.2 cm and taking O as center draw a circle

Step 3 :  Draw a ray OX

Step  4  :   Draw  an angle of  60° at O on OX using protractor

Step 5 : Angle drawn intersect circle at A

Step 6 : Draw an angle of 90° at A on OA using protractor

Step 7 :  Angle drawn intersect OX at P

P is the required point.
