Draw a circle of radius 4.2cm .Take any point k on it Draw a tangent to the circle without using centre of the circle​

Step 1: (Refer image 1) draw a circle with radius 4.2 cm. Use compass for this.

Step 2: (Refer image 2) Mark a point K on it and draw a chord using K. NAME it KO.

Step 3: (Refer image 3) Measure the length of chord and draw an arc from K and name it A. Next, join OA and AK and Mark a point X at the straight down.

Step 4: (Refer image 4) Draw a ray KP making an angle equal to ∠OAX and OK as one side and vertex K.

Thus the required tangent can be drawn.
