Answer:

STEP 1 : DRAW A CIRCLE OF RADIUS 4 CM WITH O AS ITS CENTRE.

STEP 2 : TAKE A POINT P OUTSIDE THE CIRCLE AS OP = 7.5 CM.

STEP 3 : DRAW A PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR OF OP. LET M BE THE MIDPOINT.

STEP 4 : TAKING M AS CENTRE AND MO AS RADIUS DRAW A CIRCLE.

STEP 5 : LET IT INTERSECTS THE GIVEN CIRCLE AT THE POINT A AND B.

STEP 6 : JOIN PA AND PB.

SO, PA AND PB ARE THE REQUIRED TANGENTS.

PLEASE REFER THE ATTACHED FIGURE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION.

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT.

PLEASE MARK IT AS THE BRANLISIST.

THANK YOU.

Construction:-

  • Draw a circle of radius 4 cm and mark the center as O.
  • Take a point P which is 7.5 cm away from the circle.
  • Draw a perpendicular bisector of OP.
  • The point at which the perpendicular bisector cuts the line OP mark it as M.
  • Now draw a circle with radius OM.
  • This new circle with radius OM will cut the older circle at 2 points.
  • Mark these points as T and Q.
  • Now join OT and OQ .
  • OT and OQ are the required triangles.
