SOLUTION:-

• In △ PAO,

∠PAO = 90° .....{Tangent theorem}

OA = r = 6cm and OP = 10cm

By pythagoras theorem

OP² = PA² + OA²

10² = PA² + 6²

100 = PA² + 36

100 - 36 = PA²

64 = PA²

PA = 8

BY Tangent Segment Theorem

PA = AB = 8 cm

The length of each tangent is 8cm.
