2. From its centre, mark a point 'P' , 10 cm away from centre O. Join OP.

3. Now, draw the perpendicular bisector of OP. Let the bisector meet OP at M. With PM or MO as the radius, draw another circle touching the previous circle at 2 points, say L and N.

4. Now join PL and PN are the required tangents.

5. Measure PL and PN. It should be 8 cm
