STEPS OF CONSTRUCTION :

  1. Draw a circle with radius 6 cm.
  2. Draw a point p which is away 10 cm from the center.
  3. Now, Join the PO line and perpendicular bisector of PO.
  4. Take m as the mid point of PO.
  5. Take m as center and draw a circle with radius MO.
  6. Intersect the circle of points Q and R.
  7. Now, Join the line PQ and PR.

\therefore PQ and PR are the required tangents.
