4 Constructing Steps for Tangent

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Steps of Construction-

Step-1: With 3.3 cm as radius, draw a circle and mark the center as O.

Step-2: Let M be the point at the circumference of the circle, Join OM and extend it outside the circle to point P.

Step-3: With a certain length of the compass, draw two arcs, one from point O & other from point P, on both sides of OP. the point of intersection of the upper side be A.

Step 4: Join AM, which is perpendicular to OP and it can be called the tangent to the circle.
