Step 1: Take a point O as center and open compass for 4.2 cm

           and draw a circle.

Step 2: Take Point P 7 cm away from center. Join OP

Step 3: Let M is the mid Point of OP

Step 4: Taking M as center and Mo as radius. Draw a circle.

Step 5: Let it intersect the first circle at the point Q and R.

Step 6: Join QP and RP.

QR & RP are the required tangents to the circle with center O.

Also QP = RP
