State Ohm's law draw circuit diagram to verify this law indicating the positive and negative terminals of the battery and the meter also show the direction of current in the circuit

Ohm's law states that the current through a conductor is proportional to the voltage and inversely proportional to the resistance.

I= V/R, here I= current through the conductor, V= voltage and R= resistance of the conductor.

a. According to Ohm’s law, the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference applied across the ends of the conductor, provided the physical condition remains the same.

Mathematically,V=IR

Where, R is the proportionality constant known as resistance of the conductor The SI unit of resistance is ohm.

a. A battery is connected to a fixed resistance R with a rheostat and a key K.Ammeter A measures the current in the circuit and potential difference across the resistor is measured by the voltmeter V.

At a particular setting of rheostat, we note the reading of ammeter and voltmeter. The total resistance in the circuit changes due to which the readings of ammeter and voltmeter also change.
