Draw a circuit diagram to show connection of resistors of 1ohm, 2ohm and 3ohm a source of 6V to draw minimum current.
Connect a voltmeter and ammeter to measure current and potential difference across 3ohm?
Find the readings of voltmeter and ammeter?
How will reading of ammeter change by changing its position in the circuit?

Answer:

1 A

3V

Explanation:

To Draw minimum current  Resistance should be maximum

Maximum resistance would be if resistances are connected in series

Total resistance = 1 + 2 + 3 = 6Ω

Source = 6V

Current = 6/6 = 1 Amp

Ammeter across 3 Ω resistor will Show 1 A

Voltmeter across 3 Ω resistor will Show 3 V

reading of ammeter will not change by changing its position in the circuit
