Ear is one of the sensory organs and it consists of three major parts, i.e. outer, middle and inner ear.
• Outer Ear: It consists of pinna, ear canal, and eardrum.
• Middle Ear: It consists of ossicles and ear drum
• Inner ear: It consists of the cochlea, auditory nerve, and the brain.
Working of Ear:
When sound waves enter the outer ear, it enters into the ear canal, where it makes vibration on the ear drum. The vibration causes movement in tiny bones in the middle air called ossicles. The last bone, stapes, knocks on the membrane of inner ear cochlea, which moves the fluid in it. This movement of fluid triggers the hearing nerve, which send a signal to brain and brain interprets the signal.

Draw a diagram of human ear and explain its working.
Human ear is the sense organ which help us hearing difference sound. Human ear can be divided into 3 parts :
1) outer ear
2.) middle ear
3.) inner ear
When the sound produced by a source reaches our outer ear. It makes the ear drum vibrating. This vibration are taken to middle ear by the three delicate bones Anvil, stirrup and hammer. Thereafter this second waves converted into electrol single by cochlea. These. electrical signals are sent to the brain by Auditory nerves. The brain interprets these electrical signals and convert them into sound waves. Thus we hear a sound.
