Answer:

The region where rays of sun fall in different manner create the different climate patterns. Those regions are called heat zones. There are three different heat zones in the earth:

  1. Torrid zone
  2. Frigid zone
  3. Temperature zone
  • Torrid zone is hottest heat zone among them. This zone locates near equator therefore sun shines exactly overhead of the zone. The another name of torrid zone is Tropics. North boundary of torrid zone is Tropic of Cancer and in south is Tropic of Capricorn.
  • Frigid zone is the coldest zone. It locates at a specific region between the north pole in the Northern hemisphere and Arctic circle, which is called north frigid zone. South pole in southern hemisphere and Antarctic circle is called south frigid zone.
  • Temperature zone has moderate climate nether too hot nor too cold. The region in between Tropic of Cancer and Arctic Circle  in northern hemisphere is north temperature zone. The area lies between the Tropic of Capricorn and Antarctic Circle in the southern hemisphere  is South temperate zone.
