Uniform and non-uniform magnetic field

Explanation:

When magnetic field lines are parallel then magnetic force experienced by an object is same at all points in that field and such a field is called uniform magnetic field.

Example: Bar magnet's strength is greater at its poles [non uniform]. But inside a solenoid, the magnetic field lines are parallel.

Non-Uniform Magnetic Field: The magnetic field in a region is non-uniform if it has different magnetic intensities at different points in the region. Converging, Diverging, magnetic fields of most magnets are examples of non-uniform magnetic fields.
