Draw a figure describing the following. The reflecting surfaces of two mirrors make an angle of 90° with each other. If a ray incident of one mirror has an angle of incidence of 30°, draw the ray reflected from the second mirror. What will be its angle of reflection?

Answer:

Let r2 be the angle of reflection from the second mirror.

From laws of reflection :

∠i1=∠r1=30∘

Now in Δ ABC

θ=180∘−90∘−60∘=30∘

⇒i2=60∘

Here , r2=60∘

The angle of reflection of incident ray at second mirror is 60∘ .

Answer:

According to law of reflection angles i=r on plane mirror (90 degree)

Explanation:

Angle of incidence = angle of reflection

30=30

thus angle of reflection forms 30 degree.
