It is basically elimination type. In this the team which loses the match gets eliminated.

We have to draw fixture of 10 teams by using knock out method.

Calculations :-

Number of terms (N)= 10

Half division = N/2

Therefore , upper half = 10/2 = 5

Lower half = 10/2 = 5

Bye = Next power of 2 - total number of teams

16 - 10 = 6

upper half bye = 6/2 = 3

lower half bye = 6/2 = 3

Number of matches = N-1

10-1 = 9

Number of Rounds = 4
