Communal-ism, as followed by communist parties are a part of politics.

They can belong to anarchist, socialist, or communist groups. The members involved in commercialism might threaten people and scare them to win their positions.

They can emotionally hurt them even. So they adopt terrifying and as well sweet means to anyway gather votes and continue their position in  politics.

So communism is involved in politics. It is because of forms of communal-ism that there can be massive riots, or violence even.
