actually, pitch of sound depends upon the frequency . higher the frequency means higher the pitch , lower the frequency means lower the pitch.
or you can say that pitch is directly proportional to frequency and inversely proportional to wavelength. that's why high pitch sounds have low wavelength as shown in figure.
