Draw a graph of a line 4x + 3y=24. 1.Write the coordinates of the points where this line intersects the x axis and the y axis.
2. Use the graph to find the area of the triangle formed by the graph line and the coordinates axes

\huge{\mathcal{\boxed{\boxed{\boxed{\pink{GRAPH}}}}}}

\bold{Given \:equation,}

\boxed{4x + 3y = 24}

If, y = 0

Then,

4x + 3*0 = 24

4x = 24-0

x = 24/4

x = 6

If, y = 4

Then,

4x + 3*4 = 24

4x = 24-12

4x = 12

x = 3

If, y = 8

Then,

4x + 3*8 = 24

4x = 24-24

x = 0/4

x = 0

So the points of graph,

x | 6 | 3 | 0 |

y | 0 | 4 | 8 |

1. Coordinates of the points where the line intersects at x-axis =

(6,0)

Coordinates of the points where the line intersects at y-axis =

(0,8)

2. Area of triangle formed =

1/2 (base*height)

1/2(6*8)

1/2(48)

= 24 square units.
