2x+y=-4

first put value x=1

= 2x1+y=-4
= 2+y=-4
= y=-4-2
= y=-6

put value x=o

= 2x0+y=-4
= 0+y=-4
= y=-4

This is a linear equation of a line

We know that, we need two points minimum to draw a line.

Given line,

2x + y = -4

When, x = -2 , y = 0

When, x = 0 , y = -4

Thus, We have two points,

(-2, -0) and  (0, -4)

By joining these points we can get a line for equation 2x+y=-4
