Hey
I am giving you co-ordinates for the graph by explaining .
You have to try to plot that one in your graph copy .
Here it is :-
y = x² + 4 .
Let x = 0 .
Then ,
y = ( 0 ) ² + 4
y = 4
Let x = 1
then ,
y = ( 1 ) ² + 4
y = 1 + 4
y = 5
Let x = ( - 1 )
Then ,
y = ( -1 ) ² + 4
y = 1 + 4
y = 5 .
We saw that ,
when we took x = 0 , then y = 4 .
So first co-ordinate = ( 0 , 4 ) .
When we took x = 1 then y = 5
so second co-ordinate = ( 1 , 5 )
Whe we took x = ( -1 ) then y = 5
so third co-ordinate = ( -1 , 5 ) .
So , you have got three co-ordinates and for plotting graph you require three co-ordinates .
So , you can plot graph now .
thanks :)
