To draw:

Graph representing the variation of horizontal range of a projectile with respect to the initial angle of projection.

Solution:

Let angle of projection be \theta.

So, general expression of range is as follows:

 \boxed{ \bold{R =  \dfrac{ {u}^{2}  \sin(2 \theta) }{g} }}

Keeping , initial velocity of projection and gravitational acceleration to be constant we can say that :

 \boxed{ \bold{R  \propto   \sin(2 \theta) }}

So, the required graph will be sinusoidal in nature as shown in the attached diagram.

  • Consider the Range on Y axis and \theta on the X axis.

  • You will observed that maximum range is obtained at \theta = \dfrac{\pi}{4}.

  • Minimum range in case of \theta=\dfrac{\pi}{2}.

HOPE IT HELPS.
