Draw a graph showing the variation of stopping potential with frequency of the incident radiation. What does the slope of the line with frequency axis indicate?
What information can be obtained from the value of intercept on the potential axis?

It’s urgent!!!!!!!

Answer:

The graph is self explanatory. Whenever there is a light incident, retarding potential varies linearly. Meaning, more stopping potential varies linearly with more negative values of frequency.

Positive slope indicates that with more light incident, emission is higher and greater retarding potential is required to stop completely.

Intercept confirms that the emission is only possible at a minimum frequency called threshold. Below this whatever the potential is, emission is not possible.
