Answer- The above question is from the chapter 'Statistics'.

Statistics- It is a branch of Mathematics dealing with the collection and analysis of data which can be single as well as grouped.

Median- The middlemost value of given data is called median.

Ogive- Cumulative Frequency curve is called ogive.

It is of two types: a) Less than ogive and b) more than ogive.

Ogive or cumulative frequency curve helps in finding the median of grouped data.

Formula of median in Grouped data:

Median = l + [(N/2 - CF)/f] h

where l = lower limit of median class

N = Total sum of frequencies

CF = Cumulative frequency just before median class

f = Frequency of median class

h = Height of class intervals

Given question: Draw a greater than cumulative curve and find median height from it.

Solution: Let's draw a cumulative frequency table first.

       C. I.              C.F.

More than 90  = 32

More than 100 = 27

More than 110  = 25

More than 120 = 22

More than 130  = 14

More than 140  = 6

Ordered pairs = (90,32) , (100,27) , (110,25) , (120,22) , (130,14) and (140,6).

Let's plot the ogive on the graph.

(The graph has been attached.)

N = 32

N/2 = 16

Hence, median height =  123.33 cm
