Structure of Ovary is described below :

1. This is the sex organ present in females. It is responsible for producing ovum which is the gamete of female.

2. They are present on either side of the region of abdomen.

3. Their length varies from 2 to 4 cm.

4. Ovaries are connected to the uterus and the wall of the pelvis with the help of ligaments.

This is the basic note on the section of ovary.
