Explanation:
a) The gas at anode will be Oxygen and at cathode will be Hydrogen
b) During breakdown of water(H2O) Since there are two molecules of water and 1 molecule of oxygen so double amount of hydrogen is formed at cathode
c) Since dilute H2SO4 is an acid, it helps in the more efficient conduction of electricity..If acid is not added then our experiment might not give effective results
