Hi.

here is your answer. .

Nephron :=))

✏Nephron is a functional unit of kidneys. Kidneys produces urine by its microscopic functional unit called nephron.

✏There are about 1 to 1.2 million nephron in each kidneys.

A nephron is divided into 2 regions.

i.e.

✒Bowman's capsule

✒Renal tubules.

✏The Bowman's capsule is the proximal blinds end of the nephron. It's widest part is double walled and cup shaped.

✏Outer layer is called parietal layer amd Inner layer which continues along the rim of the cup.

hope it helps you ☺

Answer:

Nephrons are small or microscopic structural and functional units of the kidney. It consists of the renal corpuscle and renal tubules. The renal corpuscle is composed of tufts of capillaries called glomeruli and a cup-shaped structure called Bowman's capsule. The renal tubules extend from the capsule. Capsules and tubules are interconnected and composed of epithelial cells with lumens.

Explanation:

Blood is filtered as it flows through the three layers between the endothelial cells of the capillary wall, their basement membranes, and the podocytes of the podocytes in the inner layer of the capsule.  As fluid flows down the capsule into the tubules, it is processed by the epithelial cells that line the tubules. Water is reabsorbed and substances are replaced (some are added, others are removed). Interstitial fluid first enters the outside of the tubule and then into the plasma of the adjacent peritubular capillaries through the endothelial cells that line the capillaries. This process regulates the amount of fluid and the levels of many body substances. At the end of the tubule, the remaining water (urine) is drained. It is composed of water, metabolic waste products and toxins.
