The front portion of the human eye consists of Cornea.

Behind it is the Aqueous humor that acts as a protection for it.

At the back of the Aqueous humor lies the pupil located centrally in the lens protruding outwards.

On the top and bottom sides of the lens, there is iris.

The lens itself is contained in the Vitreous humor at the back of which lies the retina.

The Vitreous humor is covered on all its sides by the Eye muscle that helps in protecting it.

Further, the retina is connected to the optic nerve that conveys information to the brain.
