hey
___

two miscible liquids are seperated by a process called fractional distillation

glass beads
________

they provide surface area to condense rapidly!!

______________________________

1. the liquids whose boiling points are less than 25 kelvin is seperated by fractional distillation

2. here mixture of alcohol and water is taken

3. the mixture of alcohol and water is heated in a distillation flask fitted with a fractionating column

4. when mixture is heated it form vapours as their boiling points approach

5. the alcohol vapour and vapours of water rise up in the colum they get cooled due to presence of glass beads and they fall down in the distillation flask

6. when the temperature at the top of fractionating column reaches 78 degree then alcohol vapour passes into condenser, gets cooled and collects in a beaker kept at the other end of the container u can see in the attachment

7. in this way all the alcohol gets distilled first and gets seperated

hope helped
