▪◽♦ Take a line AB.
▪◽♦ Construct two perpendicular on it.
▪◽♦ Make arcs on these perpendicular by compass open with 3.5 cm.
▪◽♦ Join these two arcs.
▪◽♦ We get a line PQ, that is parallel to the line AB with a distance of 3.5 cm.
