1. Draw a Line segment AB.
2. Draw a perpendicular to AB at point A[ right angle]
3. Now using a compass, From point A cut an arc of length 4cm. 
4. Let it intersect at point C.
5. Again at Point B ,draw a right angle in same direction as A.
6. Now using compass at point B, cut an arc of length 4 CM. 
7. Let it intersect at point D.
8. Join CD.
Hence CD ║AB
