Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment EF using ruler

Step 2 : Take a point P any where above EF

Sep 3 : Using compass Width enough to cut EF from P  Cut EF at two point A & B

Step 4 : Taking Some width of compass , Draw arcs from A & B such that it intersect at M

Step 5 : Draw a line passing through M , P and intersecting EF at  N

Step 6 : Draw a perpendicular at P on  NP using protector/Set square

and draw line GH passing through  P

GH || EF

Method 2 :

Step 1 : Draw a line segment EF using ruler

Step 2 : Take a point P any where above EF

Step 3 : join P with Straight line to  EF at point A

Step 4  :  Draw an arc from A  cutting AP at B   & EF  at C

Step 5 : Keeping same width of compass from P draw an arc cutting extended AP at  D

Step 6 : now taking compass width = BC  draw arc from D intersecting arc drawn in step 5 at G

Step 7 : Draw  a line GH Passing through P

GH || EF
