Drawn a perpendicular to Line & parallel

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line , Label it L

Step 2 : Take any point  B  on line L

Step 3 : Using some compass width draw a semicircle intersecting line L at C & D

Step 4 : taking Compass width slightly more , draw arcs taking C as center

Step 5 : keeping compass width same , draw arcs taking D as center such that it intersects arc drawn in step 4 at  E

Step 5 : draw a ray from B passing through E

BE ⊥ line L

Step 6 : taking compass width = 3.5 cm and taking B as center , cut Ray BE at A

Step 7 : taking compass width = BC or BD , draw a arc intersecting Ray BE at F & G

Step 8 : Taking compass width = EC or ED  and taking F or G as center , draw arc intersecting arc drawn in step 7 at H

Step 9 : draw a line passing through A & H and Label it M

M ║ L
