Therefore , 4x+5x =7cm

9x = 7 cm

x = 7/9 cm

Thus,

First part = 4x = 4×7/9 = 28/9cm ~~ 3.1 cm

Thus the second part will be of (7-3) that is 3.9 cm.

Thus you have to draw :-

1. A line AB of 7 cm.

2. Take a distance of 3.1 cm in you compass and From any one end point of the line AB

Cut an arc on the line AB.
