Given :   a line passing through (2, 3)and(3, 2)

To find : Draw line & find point at which the line meet the x-axis and y–axis.

Solution:

a line passing through (2, 3)and(3, 2).

Slope = ( 2 , 3)/(3 - 2)

=> Slope = - 1

y = -x + c

=> 3 = - 2 + c

=> c = 5

=> y = -x + 5

=> x + y  = 5

1 + 4 = 5

4 + 1 = 5

(1 , 4) & ( 4 ,1) lies on the line

y = 0  => x = 5

x = 0  => y = 5

x axis is cut at  ( 5 , 0)

y axis is cut at ( 0 , 5)
