Draw a line PQ. Draw another line parallel to PQ through a point B outside it using ruler and compass.​

step

  1. draw the line PQ
  2. Mark point B outside
  3. opening compass with any radius place on line and draw arc and the place where the metal tip of compass was at take that point and join is with point B drawn in step 2
  4. then at B put the metal tip on it and draw a full arc
  5. then you see the green point on yellow arc in step 5 in attachment place the compass on it and make an arc from that point so that it comes on yellow arc
  6. then point where the yellow arc and blue arc meet and point B draw a complete line
