Step 1: Draw segment AB of length 7.6 cm using a ruler.

Step 2: Draw a ray AC having an acute angle with line AB.

Step 3: Mark 5 equidistant points on ray AC, A1, A2 ,A3, A4 and A5.

Step 4: Join A5 to B

Step 5: Draw A3P parallel to A5B

Point P divides AB in the ratio 3:2. Measuring the lengths, we get AP=4.55 cm and PB=3.04 cm.

In the figure,

Step-1 Draw a line segment AB=7.5 cm

According to the question-

2x+3x=7.5 cm

x=1.5

Step-2 Mark 5 arcs of equal length of 1.5 cm

Hence,

AC=2×1.5⇒3.0 cm

BC=3×1.5⇒4.5 cm.
