Solve x:

Given that the line is 5.5 cm long

2x + 3x = 5.5

5x = 5.5

x = 5.5 ÷ 5 = 1.1 cm

Find the two length:

AP = 2x = 2(1.1) = 2.2 cm

PB = 3x = 3(1.1) = 3.3 cm

Answer: AP = 2.2 cm and PB = 3.3 cm
