firstly you have to make a line of 6cm with scale and than you have to name The two end points A and B.

after that you have to take your compass and place it at point A.

take more than half of the length of line segment AB and cut an arc above the line segment and below the line segment.

Do this same at point B..The two arcs will meet each other.

than You have to join the points where the two arcs meet.

Hence you have the perpendicular bisector of AB = 6cm
