draw a line segment AB = 8 cm make a point P on AB such that AB =4.5 CM draw a perpendicular to AB and P(1) by using Set Square (2) using compass

first we draw AB = 8cm take point P on AB of 4. 5 cm and now make the 90 degree angle on the A point then from point A cut the 4. 5 cm arc named c and now from point C make a line and cut the arc of 4.5 CM on the line that drawn from C named D and join D and P to make a square

take distance AP of given length


then , take and keep the pointed compass on P

and cut the line AB


now keep on one point take more than half distance of the two points


draw arcs keeping same distance


and now join its intersection
