Step of construction -- :

1) Using ruler draw a line segment AB of length 7cm.

2) Taking A and centre and radius =3cm, draw a circle C¹

3) Taking B and centre and radius =2cm, draw a circle C²

4) Draw perpendicular bisector of AB and take M as the midpoint of AB.

5) Taking M as centre and radius =MA, draw a circlef C³

intersecting circle C¹ at C,D and circle C² at E,F

6) Join AE,AF,BC,BD

7) AE and AF are tangents to circle C² , and BC,BD are tangents to cicle C¹.
