Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 6.2 cm  using ruler

Step 2 : Locate a Point M  on line AB

Step 3 :  Using Compass , Taking center point M cut the line segment AB on both sides of point M  , Let say at P & Q

Step 4 : Now open compass little further & Draw arc one side of AB from point P

Step 5 : keeping compass open with same length draw an arc from Q such that it intersect 1st arc at point N

Step 6 : Join MN using Ruler

MN is perpendicular at AB

MN ⊥ AB
