The construction of the given situation is attached alongwith this answer.

 \bf{ \underline{ \star \: Steps \: Of \: Construction \:  \star}}

1. Take AB = 8 cm.

2. With A as centre and r = 4 cm, draw a circle.

3. Similarly, with B as centre and r = 3 cm, draw a circle.

4. Now, draw a perpendicular bisector on AB and mark the point of intersection O.

5. Now, with O as centre and OA as radius, draw a circle.

6. Mark the meeting points of circles with centres O and A as Q and R.

7. Similarly, Mark the meeting points of circles with centres O and B as S and T.

8. Now, join BQ and BR as well as AS and AT.

9. BQ, BR, AS and AT are the required tangents.
