Solution:

Step 1 :  Draw a line segment  AB  = 10.3 cm

Step 2 : Draw an acute angle BAC  .

Step 3 : Using suitable compass width and starting from A , take 5 points one by one at equal distance

Step 4 : Join 5th point with C

Step 5 : Draw  a line parallel to line drawn in previous step , passing through 2nd point and intersecting AB at M

M divides AB in  2:3 ratio

Measure both parts :

AM ≈ 4.1  cm   and  BM ≈  6.2 cm
