first draw a line segment of 6.8 cms. Now take any point in the line segment and name it as "a". then take any radius and keeping "a" as centre, draw a semi circle in the line segment.now name the two ends of the semicircle as "b" and "c". now with the radius of more than half a measure of "b" to "c", with "b" as centre and "c" as centre cut two arcs and name the point of intersection of the arcs as "d".now join "a" to "d".

Step-by-step explanation:

1. first draw a line segment XY of 6.8 cm.

2. with center X and radius more than half of XY, draw arc on both sides of line segment .

3. with center Y and the same radius as in step 2 draw arcs cutting. the previous arcs at L and. M.

4. join LM and let it intersect XY at M
