1. Draw a line segment AB= 7.2
2. Draw any ray AX , making an acute angle with AB
3. Mark 8(5+3) points like A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8 on AX such that AA1 = A1A2 =A2A3............A7 A8
4. Join B to A8
5. From A5 draw A5C parpendicular to A8B , Meeting AB at C
6. Then C divides AB in the ratio 5:3
