Construction :
• Draw a line segment AB= 8.4 cm .
• Mark an arc from point A such that it must be bigger than 4.2 cm .
• Do the same from point B.
• Then draw a line segment from the mid of the arcs .
• Where the line segment intersects AB , mark a point C .
• Hence AB is bisected into two equal parts AC and CB each = 4.2 cm .
