Hi mate,

I'm giving you the steps to do the construction....

  1. Fist draw PQ 6.2 cm
  2. Then mark the center of PQ
  3. Construct arcs from the center both from above and mark the points of intersection.
  4. Join both points of intersection.
  5. This will be the perpendicular bisector.

1). Draw a line segment PQ of 6.2cm.

2). Open more than half the compass.

3). From P, draw two arcs ( one upside, another downside ).

4). From Q, draw two arcs to intersect the arc made from point P.

5). Name the points of intersection, A and B.

6). Join AB.

7). AB is the perpendicular bisector of PQ.
