To draw a perpendicular bisector of PQ follow the below steps:
- Draw a line of length 6.2cm and name the segment as PQ.
- Now take a compass and measure any length greater than half the length of the segment.
- Now, place the compass on any point P or Q and draw one arc above the segment and one below the segment.
- Now measuring the same length in the compass, mark same arc intersecting the arc from other end of the segment.
- Now draw a line joining both the segments.
- This line is the perpendicular bisector of the segment PQ.
