To draw a perpendicular bisector of PQ follow the below steps:

  1. Draw a line of length 6.2cm and name the segment as PQ.
  2. Now take a compass and measure any length greater than half the length of the segment.
  3. Now, place the compass on any point P or Q and draw one arc above the segment and one below the segment.
  4. Now measuring the same length in the compass, mark same arc intersecting the arc from other end of the segment.
  5. Now draw a line joining both the segments.
  6. This line is the perpendicular bisector of the segment PQ.
