Draw AB of Radius 6.5 cm
than With Center A Draw a Radius of Any length & Mark a Arc
with B as center. Take same radius as before & mark a Arc which cut previous arc
now do same Below the line segment than Join the Crossed arc point to lower cut point

for this question take a line of 6.5cm on ruler and draw it on the paper.

then take your compass and open it so that the distance between the two hands is more than half of the drawn line segment.

then keep the compass of B and draw a semi circle and do the same with A

you will find out that there are two intersected point on the paper, join these points and this will be your perpendicular bisector

in the attachment Cdcd is perpendicular bisector
