Working of an electric bulb involved the following steps :

1. When the Puch button is pressed, flow of electricity occurs, magnetising the soft iron ore.

2. This electromagnet attracts the armature towards itself. Which leads to it to strike the gong and to produce ringing sound.

3. As result the spring pulls armature back so that the contact is made once again, and the sequence begins.
